IBVE(Institute of Basic and Vocational Education) is an autonomous body, established in the year 1995 - 1996 with the association of the Govt. Of Karnataka under the Indian society ACT 1986.
The Constitution has given the right to education for everyone; some unprivileged and poor people are unable to get it due to the lack of amenities and unawareness. We conduct educational programs under the guidelines of national education policy 1986, Govt. Of India. It has been constituted compulsory basic education for all. That also includes matriculation, intermediate and vocational courses to help to get people a better place in industry or to make them skilled enough to serve their professional life well.
We create campaigns to promote the importance of education, programs and the affordable source to get it. Thus, everyone can become a part of the educated community and can serve the society with dignity. IBVE's focus is to reach everyone and to work for the well-being of everyone either poor or unprivileged.
One of the biggest advantages of vocational courses is that you get to join your dream career. Some students in academic courses may enroll in programs that they are not certain about. With vocational courses, you make a choice to join the career you have always wanted.
If you love hands-on experience, vocational training courses are designed for you. The programs include a lot of practical approaches to learning as opposed to academic programs that favor theory at the expense of practice. During the lessons, you encounter real-life situations that you will deal with on the job. The approach ensures that you are ready for the job as soon as it is available. Most of the instructors in the colleges have hands-on experience and will teach you the skills they have gained through practice.

IBVE works for planting trees and to keep the environment clean and healthy for students. we dedicatedly work to promote the education and healthcare-related programs in the poor and unprivileged people for their wellbeing.
The final examination in theory and practical are held twice in a year at the end of the session May- June and November-December. A candidate has declared successful on scoring minimum of 35% marks in each paper.
The certificates cum Marks-sheet shall be awarded by IBVE- Karnataka to the every successful declared student.
Under open and distance education system any person, any cast, any age and both sex can join the course.
The medium of every course will be Kannada and English or according to their Regional Language/ State Language/ Country Language. But Question Paper will be published in Kannada or English or in regional language. The Student can give answer in his/ her language. But it should be mentioned earlier in the admission form.
Check and satisfy necessary information about course before admission and no responsibility of the IBVE after that. Fees once paid will not be refunded or changed under any rule.
Every student abides to and obtains to present rule and regulations and directions of the IBVE and also those which are to be enforced time to time any change of the rules & regulation directions by the IBVE/HRNCC shall be acceptable to the student. The IBVE offer Self Job Oriented / Self Employment Courses only and not give any guarantee for further educational use or any job. Advised to success candidate that try to best self job.
If any document found bogus the admission and result should be canceled automatically and will inform to the students by post. If student fails to deposit the fees in the due time the admission should be canceled and any primary deposit fees should not be refunded and will inform to the students by post.
Presently, IBVE don providing any study material. The students may prepare themselves by using the N.C.E.R.T. Books. If any student / members / teachers / employees of a centre /school/institute have any dispute with the IBVE, it will be resolved through the committee appointed by IBVE, The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on all parties, Direct Court will not be permissible in either case if any dispute arise between the management of IBVE, and the second party then it will be subject to settle in jurisdiction of honorable court Karnataka only.
Any one can apply for verification of original / photo copy of documents like Detail Marks Certificate / Certificate etc. issued by the Council.
Individual / companies / organizations / agencies who would like to verify the authenticity of the academic documents may have to follow this procedure:
Send a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- + Rs 100/- ( postage charges) Total Rs. 1100/- ( non-refundable ) for each documents drawn in favour of : INSTITUTE OF BASIC AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION, KARNATAKA payable at BANGALORE.
Additional Postal Charges Rs. 1000/- for verification outside of India
Normal period required for verification 30 days.
No Verification charges for Central / State Govt. departments and Embasis in India.
